*GIVEAWAY* - Faith to BELIEVE..

Hate to tell you this (not really)..but here goes! Umkay, so some of this stuff we believing God for just ain't gone happen.

Here are 3 reasons why:

-It’s not his will or plan for our life.

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.

Proverbs 19:21

-He got something wayyyyy better.

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.

Ephesians 3:20

-Our motives are all the way wrong and out of order chiillee!

You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

James 4:2-3

__________________________________________________________________________

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about the desires that we do have that are according to God’s will for our lives.

I remember when Pastor Mommy and I first began talking about my desire to be married years ago. She shared lot’s of wisdom of course, but one thing I’ll never forget is when she told me, “If the desire you have is RIGHTEOUS, that desire has been placed in your heart from The Father himself.”

She was reminding me of the scripture James 1:17 that tells us, “EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT COMES FROM THE FATHER!” And we all know that The Father is pleased with marriages that exemplify the relationship between Jesus & the Church. Ephesians 5:22-32

So, marriage indeed is a perfect gift from the Father.

Now most of you know my testimony (Hence the Ministry God gave me called Wifeprep), but I understand some of you may be new to The Finicky Wife so let me just put this disclaimer out in the air: Just because my desire was in alignment with The Father’s will & plan for my life, the process was not expedited at all. The Lord groomed me for 3 to 4 years before the HUSBAND OF MY PRAYERS (not my “fleshly” list) showed up and put a ring on it chile…& though it got a little (I’m lying, it got a lotta) rough at times, I had to hang on to every word and every promise and every prophecy The Father said.

I had to continue to prepare by FAITH - for the PROMISE!

"So, how do I keep the FAITH as I WAIT?" you ask…

Remember what God said!

There are so many examples in the Bible where God promised people things and when it took years to come into fruition, they began to sin against God & take matters into their own hands as a way to fulfill the promise on their own. Chillee, don’t do that! Let us not be those people!

Like the quote that be floating around Instagram says,

“Don’t let what you see make you forget what I said!” -God

Faith is the substance of hope and prayers of things to believe. I believe the lord will continue to guide me in all ways and lead me down a path of righteousness and truth. Each day, I strive to become the best version of who my savior created me to be. I teach my child by having faith in the lord it will mold you into becoming a person who Trust… even when things doesn’t seem to be moving… My mom has always taught me to have a Faith walk because it you’re first soild foundation in believing.. I live my life out loud with it and move along the path of his kingdom.

I’m believing God to continue refining me. Giving me the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding I so desperately desire. Helping me to see his purpose for my life. And although I’m engaged, making sure I’m the woman I need to be before I jump any brooms!

Thank you! I needed to read this. I’m believing in God to allow me to be the roll model my kids need and I’m believing they will start walking in his path.
